        HOW TO DO BASIC EFT TAPPING 

 Memorize the tapping points.  Use the sequence for any emotional or physical problem, by customizing it with an appropriate Setup Affirmation and Reminder Phrase.  Be specific where possible. Keep in mind the specific emotional events, in one's life that may underlie the problem.  Where necessary be persistent, until all ASPECTS of the problem have vanished.  TRY IT ON EVERYTHING!! 

Follow the tapping sequence from head on down the body

     The set up Phrase ... Repeat 3 times, this affirmation:

    "Even though I have this__(issue)___________,I Choose to Love and Accept myself anyway", while continuously rubbing the Sore Spot or tapping the Karate Chop point.

2. Tap about 7 times on each of the following Meridian Points while repeating a Reminder Phrase at each point (a short reminder phrase of the problem)

EB, SE, UE, UN, CH, CB, UA, BN,TH, KC   

3. Repeat #2 above, a second time, this equals one round of tapping.

EB, SE, UE, UN, CH, CB, UA, BN, TH,  KC

Note: In subsequent rounds the Setup affirmation and the Reminder Phrase are adjusted to reflect the fact that you are addressing the remaining problem, or more aspects that arise from the same problem. Be persistent. 

Before beginning your tapping ask yourself on a scale of 0-10 how high is your anxiety?  Do a round of tapping then ask again and keep tapping until you go to 0.  

definitions: 

 EB- beginning of the eye brow,  SE- side of the eyebrow,  UE- under eye,  UN- under nose,  CH- middle of chin,  CB- collar bone next to notch, below middle of the throat,  UA- underarm about 4 inches down,  BN- 4 in. under nipple of the Breast or liver spot, The sore spot is to the far left of the notch in the throat, where a bra strap would rest on the fleshy part of the collar bone just before the arm.  This is a gland, it will feel sore when you push on it. KC -The Karate chop point is on the outside of the opposite hand.  TH- Top of the Head,                                      

 

 Reminder phrase is, a short reminder of what your problem is i.e., "this fear of flying, this fear of flying", with every tap. 

Affirmation is, "Even though I have this fear of flying I Choose to love and accept myself anyway."
